Initial Audiology Licensure

The most common reason for delay in the consideration of an application is error in completing the application accurately, providing the required information, and not following the instructions. Initial Audiology Licensure Requirements

These are located on page four of Article 22 in section § 90-298. Qualifications of applicants for temporary licensure.

Application Submission Deadline

Applications must be submitted one week prior to the monthly board meeting to be reviewed at that months board meeting.

Note about Telesupervision

On May 14, 2021, the Board voted to make it the Board’s policy to accept telesupervision of temporary licensees as direct supervision, when the supervising licensee has determined that the circumstances are appropriate.

Independent Contract Work: Temporary License Accredited College or University

“Accredited college or university” means an institution of higher learning accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities, or accredited by a similarly recognized association of another locale. (1975, c.733, s. 1; 1987, c. 665, s.1.).
